I've been to Dr. Rigneys twice now and highly recommend him. I get right in and right out, everything runs on time, and he still schedules enough time to meticulously check my eyes. He really takes time to talk to you and get it right. His office and staff are warm and caring. It's a comfortable environment and I have always felt like they are really taking care of me. Choosing glasses with Tim is a fun experience and I feel so confident wearing the glasses he helped me choose. I also really appreciate that after I got my contacts, Dr. Rigney had me come back to check on them to make sure they were working and make any changes if necessary. From the exam to picking up my glasses and contacts Dr. Rigney is the best. 5 ????? More

Dr. Rigney is amazing! My niece was there for her annual visit....he did her eye scans and noticed something and wanted her to get an MRI....he continued to research and consult after her appointment and then said it needed to be emergency....not only did he help make this happen, he repeatedly checked in on Addison while she was in the hospital, as well as with physicians involved....and he has continued to do so!!! (she was diagnosed with pseudotumor cerebri) he has been such a blessing and we feel the only one out of all involved who genuinely seems concerned with Addison’s health and recovery! He continues to monitor her and keep in touch and update everyone else involved!! (His staff is great too) we were happy with them before but the above and beyond care has blown us away and we are forever grateful! We highly recommend Dr. Rigney! More

Dr. Rigney has been our family optometrist for over 15 years. At my most recent check up, I expressed some concern with my eyesight. Dr Rigney spent several hours extra and opened his clinic on a Saturday so he could finish a series of test before I left for a scheduled work trip. He diagnosed several serious possibilities as the reason for my vision loss and even reached out to my primary care physician to get the follow up medical appointments that were needed to conclusively diagnose the issue. Dr. Rigney’s diagnosis was spot on, his care and concern has saved my sight. The day I was there another patient was angered that Dr. Rigney was behind schedule, next time it could be their sight he takes the extra time to save. I definitely rate his care and clinic 5 stars. Let me start by saying what a fantastic, thorough & caring doctor & staff is at Dr. Rigney's office. Dr. J Rigney was our Optometrist a few years back & we stopped seeing him because our insurance providers changed. After literally several failed attempts at finding a competent optometrist, we are happily back at Dr. Rigney's. He painstakingly took the time to diagnose an issue, then explain it to me in my 14 yr old son. I will be forever grateful for the care & all the options presented to me. I would highly recommend him to anyone. More

Dr. Rigney has been my optometrist for 25 years. He has managed my vision changes(glasses, cataract lens replacement, contact lenses) through those years with professionalism and thoroughness. Not once have I felt pressured by hurry or impatience. His staff has always treated me with respect and does their utmost to make sure my vision needs are well-met and at the most compliance with my insurance provisions. I would recommend him, and his staff, to anyone for vision care and surgery follow-up. More

I recently moved to Owasso and needed to get a vision exam which my insurance covers. I have been struggling with tension headaches for the past few months causing severe dizziness and a lower quality of daily life. Dr. Rigney and his staff were extremely welcoming. If anything, Dr. Rigney takes more than ample time to explain his findings so that you leave his office with an understanding of your diagnosis. I have 20/20 vision, however, through testing it was found that my eyes were straining extremely hard to get to that level of focus for the good vision. Therefore, potentially causing the headaches. Dr. Rigney explained this very thoroughly to me. In fact, Dr. Rigney offered a me the opportunity to try a contact with my prescription for one day at NO COST to make sure it was going to help before having me purchase glasses which are relatively expensive. It was learned that readers with a +1.00 setting would do the same as an extremely expensive pair of glasses. THIS WAS AT DR. RIGNEY'S SUGGESTION. This further ensured me that DR. Rigney had great ethics and morals. Instead of selling me a pair of high dollar glasses, he recommended the readers because he felt they would do just as good in getting my eyes to relax as would an expensive pair from his office. I highly recommend Dr. Rigney for any of your eye care needs!! More

I have always had poor vision and had made peace with the idea that my vision would never be very good, even with glasses. I saw Dr. Rigney for the first time and he took his time to make sure he got the prescription just right. I picked up my glasses today and broke down in tears as I drove home. Everything was crisp and sharp—even the tiniest letters that were far away. I can really see now! I would be remiss if I didn’t add that he has the sweetest receptionist ever. Miss Mary is a gem! Excelente service, doctor Rigney is full of knowledge and explain very well all the test he do . Also is one of the few places that have all the equipment to check your eyes,. I moved to Florida but I came back just to do my yearly checkup with him. You can get your prescription glasses there too. More

We were at church and J. Rigney looked at the swelling around my eyes from poison Ivy and or poison Oak. He asked what I was doing for it and I told him one of the over-the-counter things I was using. He said he was going to call in a steroid cream prescription which ended up taking the swelling down and drying out the poisonous oil infection for the most part in less than 24 hours. It was a blessing. More

Dr. Rigney is an excellent ophthalmologist! I have a rare eye condition that I have to have a specialist also. I needed a new pair of glasses this isn't my first time at Dr Rigney's office, I will always get my glasses there. His staff is excellent especially Tim. I went for checkup left with a monovision contact. Told him I hated my reading glasses. He spent alot of time and visits with me before going with a bifocal contact in one eye. It worked so well it seemed like magic. Highly recommend. More

Best pair of glasses I've ever owned. Accidentally popped off a nosepiece on a Friday, and called around 5:45 to see if they were there on Saturdays. Without even knowing where I lived, Dr Rigney offered to wait till I got there just to replace the nosepiece at no charge! Service like that is very rare these days, and will be remembered by me. Grateful that I don't have to be without eyes all weekend. More

Dr. Rigney is extremely thorough in his eye exam. He includes services like checking the tear film of your eye and checking under your eyelid for build up or issues from wearing contacts that you would never be able to feel. He also let me know that when I'm ready for it he has really technologically advanced contacts that can help with reading without having to wear readers and give better vision when driving at night! Highly recommend him for contact lenses! More
